Anggun Snow on the Sahara

Have you experience playing one song for almost an hour? and You're trying to savor the melody of the song. And as you continue to listen to the same song, the lyrics continues to speared your heart. The melody dries-up your worries away. These what happened to me a few hours ago. I was playing a song for almost an hour now and the song that I'm playing is Snow on the Sahara by Anggun. I know Anggun for her hand antics and strong Indonesian accent. (BTW she's an Indonesian). I just couldn't get what her hand antics mean. Do you know? Well, anyways I'm just curious about it. No big deal. I even try to imitate her hand antics, it's quite mystical. What you think? To add that up, I really like the meaning of the song, it has something to do with doubts. Leaving it behind on Sahara.

I just couldn't get her song out of mind. It's just there, It's like one of LSS (Last Song Syndrome). Have you had one?

Snow on the Sahara

Only tell me that you still want me here
When you wander off out there
To those hills of dust and hard winds that blow
In that dry white ocean alone
Lose out in the desert
Ou are lost out in the desert

But to stand with you in a ring of fire
Ill forget the days gone by
Ill protect your body and guard your soul
From mirages in your sight

Lost out in the desert
You are lost out in the desert

If your hopes scatter like the dust across your track
Ill be the moon that shines on your path
The sun may blind our eyes, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara

Just a wish and I will cover your shoulders
With veils of silk and gold
When the shadows come and darken your heart
Leaving you with regrets so cold

Lost out in the desert
You are lost out in the desert

If your hopes scatter like the dust across your track
Ill be the moon that shines on your path
The sun may blind our eyes, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara

If that's the only place where you can leave your doubts
Ill hold you up and be your way out
And if we burn away, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara
