Lay your troubles on my shoulder, put your worries in my pocket

This song just came-out of my mind from nowhere. Early this morning, I felt fearful & worried of something I don't know why. Talking about fear of unknown. This usually happens to me when, I'm stress and occupied with trash thoughts which drains my positive outlook in life. Although some of it has basis, but still I rather not think about as much as possible. It lingers in my mind and leave trace of self-doubt.

I just wanna share this old song which I think gives a good message and it helps me ease some worries & troubles I'm feeling right now.

REST YOUR LOVE ON ME

Maybe you don`t know me anymore than I know you
And I wouldn`t blame you if you walked away
I`ve been watching you all evening
With the teardrops in your eyes
And it touches me much more than I can say

You know I hate to think that someone
Could have hurt someone like you
And if I was them I`d be right by your side

Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile
Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile

Saw you in the corner on the moment I walked in
Saw your lonely face across the room
No, I won`t forget it
And the way it might have been
Oh, why did you have to leave so soon?

You know I hate to think that someone
Could have loved you more than me
And at times like this I`d be right by your side

Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile
Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile

How long must I wait
For the last train to leave here
And the last chance to go home?
Get to thinking I was born too soon
How long, honey
When the lovin` don`t come
It was there when you left me
Just didn`t know how to begin

Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile
Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile

Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile
Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Put your love on me awhile

Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile
Lay your troubles on my shoulder
Put your worries in my pocket
Rest your love on me awhile

Anggun Snow on the Sahara

Have you experience playing one song for almost an hour? and You're trying to savor the melody of the song. And as you continue to listen to the same song, the lyrics continues to speared your heart. The melody dries-up your worries away. These what happened to me a few hours ago. I was playing a song for almost an hour now and the song that I'm playing is Snow on the Sahara by Anggun. I know Anggun for her hand antics and strong Indonesian accent. (BTW she's an Indonesian). I just couldn't get what her hand antics mean. Do you know? Well, anyways I'm just curious about it. No big deal. I even try to imitate her hand antics, it's quite mystical. What you think? To add that up, I really like the meaning of the song, it has something to do with doubts. Leaving it behind on Sahara.

I just couldn't get her song out of mind. It's just there, It's like one of LSS (Last Song Syndrome). Have you had one?

Snow on the Sahara

Only tell me that you still want me here
When you wander off out there
To those hills of dust and hard winds that blow
In that dry white ocean alone
Lose out in the desert
Ou are lost out in the desert

But to stand with you in a ring of fire
Ill forget the days gone by
Ill protect your body and guard your soul
From mirages in your sight

Lost out in the desert
You are lost out in the desert

If your hopes scatter like the dust across your track
Ill be the moon that shines on your path
The sun may blind our eyes, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara

Just a wish and I will cover your shoulders
With veils of silk and gold
When the shadows come and darken your heart
Leaving you with regrets so cold

Lost out in the desert
You are lost out in the desert

If your hopes scatter like the dust across your track
Ill be the moon that shines on your path
The sun may blind our eyes, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara

If that's the only place where you can leave your doubts
Ill hold you up and be your way out
And if we burn away, Ill pray the skies above
For snow to fall on the sahara

Let's start to be cheesy with song It's Getting Better

IT'S GETTING BETTER
Mama Cass
by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil

Once I believed that when love came to me
It would come with rockets, bells and poetry
But with me and you it just started quietly and grew
And believe it or not
Now there's something groovy and good
Bout whatever we got
And it's getting better
Growing stronger warm and wilder
Getting better everyday, better everyday
I don't feel all turned on and starry eyed
I just feel a sweet contentment deep inside
Holding you at night just seems kind of natural and right
And it's not hard to see
That it isn't half of what it's going to turn out to be
Cause it's getting better
Growing stronger, warm and wilder
Getting better everyday, better everyday
And just like a flower that takes time to bloom
This love of ours is taking time to grow
Ba da da da da da da da da da da da
And I don't mind waitin', don't mind waitin'
Cause no matter how long it takes
The two of us know
That it's getting better
Growing stronger, warm and wilder
Getting better everyday, better everyday

I believe Lyrics

For the past few days, I kept on listening and watching youtube videos about this song. I consumed most of my internet time watching different singers giving their best version on the song. Not to mention letting all their highest vocal power to produce much better or should I say the highest version they could possibly do with the song. I have to admit I'm hooked with the lyrics and the way it was sung by many well-known singers. I have two favorites, the Regine Velasquez "I believe" and Charice Pempengco "I believe" versions. You have to watch how these two singers gave their best shot rendering their own version of the song.
