A lot of TV shows (local and International) has been doing every possible ways to attract more viewers. Here in our local scene, they even go for mimicking popular foreign soap operas onto their own version. I must say that they doing quite a pretty good job. One very fitting to this topic is The MARIMAR mania, Marimar was originally in Mexico where the most soap operas are. Nevertheless we as Filipino had some good influences of Mexican culture that's why we have an appreciation with this type of shows.
On the top photo, they are the two character version of Marimar the left side was thalia and the right side is Marian Rivera. One is Mexican which is the original Marimar and the other side is the Filipino version.
